Apprentice Order Fulfilment Operative

The Pitchmark Group are looking to recruit a dynamic, confident and self-motivated individual to join Its thriving Warehouse Operations team.


The ideal candidate will get to work in the exciting, fast-paced environment of the sports industry. They will be polite, courteous, customer-focused and enthusiastic about working with a fast-growing, family-friendly Organisation. Our spacious, modern offices are located in Emerson's Green with excellent transport links and a plethora of amenities nearby.


You will get the chance to work with a dedicated team of specialists, as well as some of the largest sports organisations in the UK and across the globe. As an Order Fulfilment Operative, you will be supporting the Warehouse team to get customer orders out on time and efficiently as well as learning on the job about the role of Order Fulfilment Operative.


What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?


During your Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Apprenticeship, you will be based at our Bristol site and will receive ongoing training and support from The Pitchmark Group and Smart Training and Recruitment.


At the forefront of this exciting role will be the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare and package customer orders (boxes and pallets)

  • Label paint and keep shelves stocked for pick and pack system

  • Decant and label Ecoclean

  • Assist with the monitoring of stock levels and stock rotation

  • Keep the warehouse, build room and outside spaces clean, tidy and safe

  • Deal with waste management, baling and recycling

  • Assist with lifting and moving of machines



What we're looking for:


Essential

  • Polite, courteous and customer focused

  • Has a positive team ethos

  • Is physically fit with the ability to lift and move reasonably heavy objects and packages

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment to fulfil customer orders on time

  • Ability to work with minimum supervision, is proactive and takes initiative

Desirable

  • A clean driving license

  • GCSE Grade C above in Maths and English or equivalent

  • The ability to speak a foreign language
