Who are The Pitchmark Group?

The Pitchmark Group is a Queen’s Award-winning; family run and owned business from Bristol, UK.

The group comprises of three divisions - Pitchmark, Turfix, and Total Amenity Supplies. Originally founded as Pitchmark in 2010, the company was solely a manufacturer of line marking paint and equipment with a focus on export.

By 2019, Turfix was launched as a supplier of premium quality products to the professional sports turf sector, giving Pitchmark a sales arm within the UK alongside other leading manufacturers like ICL, Harrod Sport and Tildenet Sport. A Services division in Turfix was added later in 2019 to assist grounds teams with GPS line marking.

Finally, Total Amenity Supplies was formed in 2020, supplying a range of consumables including line marking products, fertilisers and weed killers through both retail e-commerce and trade platforms.

What does the position entail?

The Pitchmark Group is looking to hire a Customer Services Executive to join its team, and continue the businesses’ rapid expansion heading into 2022.

Based at The Pitchmark Group’s Headquarters in Bristol, you will get the chance to work with a dedicated team of specialists, as well as some of the largest sports organisations in the UK and across the globe.

At the forefront of this exciting role, you will provide an excellent and efficient service to all Customers, Distributors and Suppliers. You will action customer calls and emails in a polite and professional manner, provide customer support on e-commerce platforms, processing customer orders, and raising third party supplier orders in relation to customer orders.

In addition, you will provide support for the Sales department with their customer accounts, and provide the Fleet Supervisor with the management of company vehicles.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining procedures, policies and processes, assisting with general office administration duties, as well as monitoring all of the company’s email inboxes.

What we’re looking for:

Essential Experience

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and escalate issues appropriately

  • Have strong organisational skills, be meticulous and have excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, be proactive and take initiative

  • Can work to tight deadlines and manage multiple and changing priorities

  • Ability to design and record processes and procedures

  • Experience of working effectively in a customer-focussed environment

  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and other company IT systems

  • Understanding of CRM systems

Desirable Experience

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment

  • Ability to speak a foreign language

  • Experience of providing effective support to a management team and associated duties

  • A full and clean UK driving license

  • GCSE Grade C above in Maths and English or equivalent

The Benefits from working with us

  • 32.5 hours – 37 hours per week (requests for flexible working patterns will be considered)

  • Competitive salary - up to £22,500, dependant on experience

  • 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays pro rata

  • No weekend working
