Join The Pitchmark Group — a King’s Award-winning family business supplying professional sports turf products to leading clubs, contractors and organisations across the UK and internationally.


We’re looking for a Regional Sales & Business Development Manager to take ownership of the Midlands and Northern territory, driving new business and growing customer accounts across our full product range.


This is a front-line, field-based sales role focused on generating revenue, winning new customers, and developing long-term commercial relationships.



What You'll Do:


  • Develop and execute a territory plan to generate and convert new sales opportunities across the Midlands and North of England

  • Proactively identify, generate and close new business, with a focus on professional sport and independent education (including universities)

  • Target organisations using robotic line markers, converting paint supply to Pitchmark products through on-site demonstrations

  • Conduct regular site visits, understanding customer needs and delivering tailored, solution-led recommendations

  • Grow accounts into multi-category customers across line marking, nutrition & controls and sports equipment

  • Own and achieve sales and gross profit targets, with full accountability for pricing, margin and territory performance

  • Maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities, with accurate CRM reporting and consistent field-based activity

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to support a coordinated and efficient sales operation

  • Represent the business at regional events, trade shows and industry visits, while using social media to generate and maintain engagement



What We're Looking For:


  • Proven experience in a field-based sales or business development role

  • Track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets

  • Strong commercial awareness, including pricing, margin and negotiation

  • Confident communicator, able to build relationships and influence purchasing decisions

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, field-based role with regular customer interaction

  • Organised, self-motivated and able to manage a busy and varied territory

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Experience within sports turf, groundcare or a related industry is highly desirable.
