After a brilliant 12 years, our Finance Director Sue Rodman has made the decision to step down from her position.
Sue (pictured above) started Pitchmark with her husband Mark in 2010 and has since played a huge part in the company's growth - which now includes a further two companies, Turfix and Total Amenity Supplies, and over 25 members of staff. You can read our 'About Us' page to find out more about how we work at The Pitchmark Group.
The Bristol-based company has been incredibly successful over the past decade, supplying sports clubs at major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, the UEFA European Football Championship and the Premier League with line marking materials, as well as setting up over 20 Pitchmark distributors across the globe.
In 2018, The Pitchmark Group introduced Darren Rodman (marketing director), Tim Rodman (managing director) and Jon Griffiths (operations director) as new shareholders and directors for the company to join Sue and Mark, and they marked their success by being awarded The Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade 2019 just 12 months later.
In addition to being responsible for the financial management of The Pitchmark Group, and establishing close relationships with third parties such as Norton Accountancy and Bishop Fleming, Sue has done an excellent job managing the welfare of all the Group's employees and ensuring that everyone is comfortable in the workplace - she is the Chief Happiness Officer after all!
We're delighted to announce that our fantastic Finance Manager Lynne Collins (pictured above) will be making the step up to the finance director position. Over the past few years, Lynne has taken on more responsibility when it comes to managing the company finances, and has done a great job, so we are delighted that she has accepted this position.
Speaking on her new position, Lynne commented: "I would like to say a massive thank you to all of my colleagues for their very kind words.
"I am very much looking forward to this new chapter and challenge. I feel honoured to be given the opportunity to be involved with the ever-increasing growth of The Pitchmark Group and to continue being part of this amazing family.
Although Sue has decided to step down from her position as director, she will continue working for The Pitchmark Group in supporting HR Officer Katie Yarwood in the human resources department.
We would like to thank Sue for everything she's given as director of The Group over the past 12 years, and congratulations to Lynne as she begins this new chapter in our Pitchmark Group family.
