The Pitchmark Group is thrilled to announce the addition of two new recruits, Steven Bailey and Nathan Cramp, who will join the family-run business as Regional Account Managers.
Ever since Mark Rodman started the business in 2010, The Pitchmark Group have emerged themselves as a leading manufacturer in the sports turf and amenity industry. During that time, the group has assembled a dedicated team of specialists from the industry to work with their loyal customer base, key suppliers and global distributors.
Bailey joins The Pitchmark Group following eight years in his previous role as a supervisor at Ecosolve Turf Care, where he oversaw and completed pitch renovations, specialist drainage decompaction, sports field primary drainage installation, as well as initial and over line marking.
Bailey has extensive experience working at some of the best sporting venues across Europe and the UK, including Middlesbrough FC, Harlequins RFC, Lords Cricket Ground, Southampton FC, Gullane Golf Club (Scottish Open Host), and the Kennemer Golf & Country Club (Dutch Open).
In his spare time, Bailey is an avid Rugby player and was able to combine his two passions when he prepared Bath Rugby's Recreational Ground for a local cup final in which he played for Corsham RFC.
Speaking to the wider Pitchmark Group, Bailey commented: "I'm looking forward to meeting new people, as well as reconnecting with some old faces. But I'm mostly looking forward to helping ground staff and greenkeepers improve standards across the industry."
In addition to Bailey, Cramp too joins The Pitchmark Group as Regional Account Manager following his previous role at Insight Property Maintenance. Alongside his property maintenance position, Cramp worked as a grassroots football groundsman for Aylestone Park F.C preparing pitches, ordering materials, and supervising other groundstaff.
Cramp has been involved with a variety of sports turf projects across his career, including natural pitch renovations, drainage projects, artificial football and cricket pitch installs, as well as preparing Aylestone’s pitch for FA Youth Cup matches against Lincoln City and Sheffield Wednesday.
New addition Cramp commented: “I’m looking forward to being involved with the use of GPS line markers, gaining experience in the sales side of the industry, and working with high-end professional clubs.”
