The Pitchmark Group wins King's Award for Enterprise International Trade


The Pitchmark Group has been honoured with the King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade. Having first received the Queen’s Award in 2019, to achieve receive the recognition for a second time is a testament to the team, and proves that the business continues to grow and prosper.


Employing 29 people, The Pitchmark Group was founded in 2010 and located in Emersons Green, South Gloucestershire, is a market leader in line marking solutions. Having clients that range from grassroots local clubs to iconic international arenas such as Wembley Stadium, Premier League football teams and prestigious events including the FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, and The UEFA European Championships 2016 in France. The company has a client base that encompasses all aspects of sports.

About King’s Awards for Enterprise


The King’s Awards for Enterprise are the most prestigious business awards in the UK. The awards were first established in 1965 and since then over 7000 companies have achieved a King’s Award. 2024 marks the second year of The King’s Awards for Enterprise, reflecting His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.


The awards celebrate the success of exciting and innovative businesses which are leading the way with pioneering products or services, delivering impressive social mobility programmes, or showing their commitment to excellent sustainable development practices.


This year 252 businesses have been recognised for their contribution to International Trade, Innovation, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through Social Mobility). A total of 257 Awards are made with five companies being recognised with two Awards.


The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2023 include:

  • 161 Awards for International Trade

  • 59 Awards for Innovation

  • 29 Awards for Sustainable Development

  • 8 Awards for Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility)


The King’s Awards for Enterprise 2025 open for applications on The King’s Coronation Day, 6th May and close early-September 2024. Almost all UK businesses (including non-profit) can apply, and the application process is free. All applications must be made online, and organisations may apply for more than one category.
