After exhibiting at turf management show GMA SALTEX last year, Turfix - part of The Pitchmark Group - was delighted to make its return to the NEC, Birmingham for another year on stand E125.
Over the past 12 months, Turfix and its services division have continued to excel in the sports turf industry by providing premium products to both the professional and grassroots markets, and strengthening relationships with clubs and organisations across the UK.
2022 has also been a landmark year for Turfix's GPS Line Marking Service. In 2017, one Regional Account Manager managed 30 pitches; today, four Regional Account Managers manage over 600 pitches, including football, rugby, athletics and more.
In light of the above, Turfix and its team couldn't wait to showcase how much the company has grown since the 2021 exhibition at the NEC.
Ideally placed next to The Grounds Management Association and Turf Business in the hall, a highlight of Turfix's E125 stand was Pitchmark's collection of spray and transfer pedestrian line marking machines, which was well received by existing and potential customers alike. Pitchmark's handcrafted products proudly bear the Made in Britain mark and are distributed exclusively by Turfix in the UK.
Along with the Classic 120mm wheel-to-wheel marker and the Eco Lite spray marker, the unique, three-wheeled Hybrid was also showcased - this time with bespoke branding for the Arsenal F.C. grounds team at The Emirates Stadium.
Away from the stand, it was fantastic to see our customers and partners all within the sports turf and grounds management industry, as well as some new faces too!
Turfix's key suppliers also exhibited at SALTEX 2022, including ICL, Harrod Sport, Block Blitz and Hurrells Seeds. Additionally, it was great to catch up with SMART Way Forward UK's Managing Director, Nadeem Shaikh, who has worked with The Pitchmark Group and its staff on tailor-made leadership courses and training exercises over the years.
While we say goodbye to the NEC for another year, we quickly look forward to another extremely exciting week for The Pitchmark Group. As of November 14, we will move from our current premises to a modern industrial unit in Emerald Park, Bristol.
As part of the Group's expansion plan, we will move to a larger facility so that we can process and ship larger orders more efficiently and effectively. We would like to express our gratitude since we could not have achieved all this without your continued support.
